infatuations run dry as sudden realization happens. maybe it was just all a very long phase. maybe it really was just a puddle in the desert. it wasn’t an oasis. puddle. a little spill. now looking at things, water is expensive. fuel is even worse. perhaps a leg would not be enough for even a gallon. nothing can be paid to buy it now. perhaps it just has to be given.
